Louis Vuitton, the iconic fashion and accessories house under global luxury conglomerate LVMH, has launched a new campaign with Rihanna by debuting a giant billboard on the Seine-facing side of the Musee d'Orsay in Paris. Hip Hop mogul and new Menswear Creative Director of Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams, unveiled Rihanna as the face of his inaugural campaign.
Pharrell shared an image on Instagram of himself posing in front of the billboard featuring Rihanna. On the billboard, Rihanna is wearing a black shirt exposing her growing baby bump and is holding three brightly-hued handbags.
The appointment of Pharrell as Menswear Creative Director cemented Louis Vuitton’s positioning as a “cultural” brand and marked Pietro Beccari’s first major decision since he took over as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Louis Vuitton on February 1st.
