Overview

A different kind of runway was recently in focus at the newly refurbished TWA Flight Center terminal at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. It was here that Women's Collection Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière chose to stage an elaborate fashion show unveiling of the 2020 Louis Vuitton Cruise Collection, no small feat given the '60s-era landmark site, the latest in a list of high luxury locations to host Louis Vuitton shows, has been closed for 18 years and only recently been revived.

Louis Vuitton's 6th Cruise Collection wasn't the only thing to debut during the fashion show that night as high profile attendees, including talent like Cate Blanchett, Emma Stone, Julianne Moore, and Michelle Williams, got the first glimpse of the freshly revamped terminal in its new form, a retro-inspired hotel.

Barack Ferrazzano represented Louis Vuitton in this endeavor with a team comprised of Dennis A. Ferrazzano, Daniel L. Dominguez, Amy L. Koenig, and Kaitlyn E. Kelly.
