Louis Vuitton, the iconic fashion and accessories house under global luxury conglomerate LVMH, has signed BTS member j-hope as its newest brand ambassador. The BTS member was previously engaged with Louis Vuitton as a member of BTS, but will now represent Louis Vuitton in his individual capacity.

The announcement of j-hope’s new role comes shortly after it was confirmed that Pharrell Williams would be the new menswear creative director at Louis Vuitton, a role last held by the late designer Virgil Abloh. Williams’ first collection for Louis Vuitton will be displayed to the world in June during men’s fashion week in Paris.

Louis Vuitton praised j-hope in a press release saying that his “momentum as a solo artist has also continued to build. He is beloved by fans across the world for his upbeat energy, precise choreography and creative musical direction. With a positive on-and-off-stage presence, j-hope continues to push artistic boundaries and inspire international audiences.”

BFKN served as lead counsel to Louis Vuitton. The team was led by Kait E. Kelly with assistance from Daniel L. Dominguez and associate Katie E. Yonover.
