BFKN is pleased to announce the addition of Emily Hoffman to the Litigation Group.
Emily focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, drawing on over a decade of experience across private practice and federal clerkships to advocate for clients in high-stakes disputes. Emily is a partner in BFKN’s Litigation Group. She has represented companies across a wide range of industries, including luxury goods, real estate, automotive, and consumer products. Known for her strategic thinking, Emily brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to each case. Before rejoining BFKN, Emily served as a career law clerk to the Honorable Judge Brenda Weksler in the District of Nevada, where she managed a docket of approximately 400 cases and drafted judicial opinions on a broad range of complex legal issues. She also served as the district-wide pro bono liaison, helping to expand access to justice.
"We are excited to welcome back to the firm and our Litigation Group, Emily Hoffman, who practiced with us as an associate for several years. Emily rejoins our group as a partner after clerking on the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, gaining invaluable experience that will benefit our clients." — Matthew A. Bills, Co-Chair, Litigation Group
Litigation Group
Our firm has assembled a group of highly skilled trial lawyers – seasoned partners and well-trained associates – who represent clients both forcefully and efficiently. Unlike some litigators, who spend years engaging in expensive discovery only to recommend settlement on the eve of trial, we are always ready to try cases when necessary but strive to achieve business resolutions early and economically when appropriate.
