Overview

Barack Ferrazzano congratulates partner Brandon C. Prosansky, who was honored as one of only two recipients of the 2016 Davis, Gidwitz & Glasser Young Leadership Award by the Jewish United Fund (JUF) / Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. This award honors volunteers who have demonstrated exemplary dedication and made significant contributions to Chicago's Jewish community.

Brandon served four years as a member of JUF's Young Leadership Division (YLD) Board of Directors starting in 2012. During his tenure on the board, he displayed his commitment as a leader, serving as President, Campaign Vice Chair, and as an ex-officio member of the JUF/Federation Board, and participating in JUF’s Jewish Leaders Institute. In addition to serving on various JUF committees and commissions, Brandon is a past Chair of JUF's Young Lawyers Group, and a current member and past Vice Chair of the National Young Leadership Cabinet of the Jewish Federations of North America. In 2012, JUF/Oy!Chicago named Brandon to their inaugural "36 Under 36" list, which recognizes young Jewish leaders, humanitarians, educators and social activists striving to make the world a better place each in their own unique way.

As a partner at Barack Ferrazzano, Brandon focuses his practice on advising motor vehicle manufacturers concerning litigation and transactional matters that arise in their dealer networks. Brandon’s experience also includes general commercial litigation, including both plaintiff and defense matters based on contract, professional liability, fiduciary duty and fraud. He also has experience representing national and local banks in commercial mortgage foreclosure and mechanics lien litigation. In addition, he has provided pro bono legal assistance to refugees seeking asylum.
