Overview

For the third consecutive year, Barack Ferrazzano and its litigation partners were recognized by Benchmark Litigation, the definitive guide to America's leading litigation firms and attorneys. In the 2021 edition, the Firm was named a “Highly Recommended Firm” in Illinois, and four Litigation Group partners received individual recognition.

Commercial Litigation Group co-chairs W. Scott Porterfield and Roger H. Stetson, along with partner Robert E. Shapiro, were once again named “Local Litigation Stars,” and Nicholas H. Callahan continues to be recognized as a “Future Star.”

Benchmark recognition is earned based on an extensive six-month interview research process of recent casework with leading litigators and in-house counsel. Firms and attorneys selected by Benchmark are consistently highly recommended and rated effective and reputable litigators.

In July 2020, four Barack Ferrazzano partners including “Future Star” Nicholas Callahan were recognized in Benchmark’s 40 & Under Hot List. This list identifies attorneys who are considered the best in their field and have been deemed among the most promising talent emerging from the litigation community by both their peers and clients.
