Overview

At the end of 2020, Automobili Lamborghini America and Lady Gaga began collaborating on a project to fundraise money for those disproportionally impacted by COVID-19. As part of their campaign efforts, Lamborghini donated the 2020 Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD seen in Lady Gaga’s "911" music video to the Born This Way Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Lady Gaga. The sports car was the grand prize in a sweepstakes to raise money for those impacted by the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

Ending last month, the charity sweepstakes managed to raise $330,800 for non-profit beneficiaries Together Rising, One Spirit, and Al Otro Lado, who say that the donations will “make the difference between surviving and thriving.” The winner of the Lamborghini sports car got it with taxes and shipping included, as well as 25 percent of the approximate retail value.

The BFKN team that represented Automobili Lamborghini America, LLC spanned multiple practice groups, reflecting the Firm’s deep and diverse bench across the Fashion, Luxury & Retail sectors. The team included Corporate & Securities Group chair Daniel L. Dominguez and associate Katherine E. Gause, Cybersecurity, Privacy & Technology Group chair Karyn L. Doerfler, and Motor Vehicle Group co-chair Sarah M. Bernstein.
