David concentrates his practice on structuring, negotiating, documenting and implementing a variety of complex transactions, including secured and unsecured financing, loan work-outs, real estate acquisition and development and corporate mergers and acquisitions. His practice also encompasses planning for business separations and the formation of successor businesses, particularly in the context of attorneys transitioning from law firms to independent practices. David's practice is informed by his background in litigation, and he continues to be involved in the formulation and evaluation of litigation strategy, legal theories, and settlements.

David is a member of the boards of directors of several not-for-profit organizations, which he serves in a pro bono legal capacity and in various other roles.
