Overview

Barack Ferrazzano is pleased to announce the addition of Christopher R. Boyd to the firm’s Compensation & Benefits Group.

Chris focuses his practice on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, with deep experience advising public companies and private equity sponsors on transactions and ongoing governance. On the transactional side, he conducts HR and benefits due diligence across the deal lifecycle; reviews and marks up purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and transaction-related compensation arrangements; and identifies and resolves human capital issues from sign to close. Chris also supports the design and implementation of long-term incentive programs, drafting equity incentive plans, award agreements, and board and stockholder consents.

“We are excited to welcome Chris Boyd to our Compensation & Benefits Group. Chris joins us from a premier global law firm, where he built a strong foundation advising on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, with a focus on M&A transactions and private equity. His experience and perspective will make him an immediate asset to both our team and our clients.” —  Andrew K. Strimaitis, Chair, Compensation & Benefits Group
