Barack Ferrazzano is pleased to welcome Thomas M. Williams to the Firm as a partner in the Intellectual Property Group. Tom is an internationally recognized intellectual property litigator with extensive experience representing clients in all aspects of trademark law, including trade dress. He represents clients before federal district and appellate courts, and in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He was recognized by World Trademark Review 1000 as one of The World's Leading Trademark Professionals 5 years in a row. Tom is the author of the Lexis-Nexis annually updated book, False Advertising and the Lanham Act, addressing false advertising claims under Section 43(a)(1)(B) of the Lanham Act.
