About the Speakers

Rob is co-chair of the Financial Institutions Group and concentrates his practice on financial institutions, securities, and general corporate matters. He regularly represents financial institutions on public and private securities offerings, recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, and contract negotiations. Additionally, he works closely with clients on their continued compliance with federal and state securities laws, including reporting under the Securities Exchange Act and with corporate governance matters.

Abdul is a partner in the Financial Institutions Group. He focuses his practice on capital raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, Fintech agreements and partnerships, and general corporate matters. Before joining the Firm, Abdul was an associate in the corporate group at a large national law firm in New York. He has project experience with Islamic finance and is fluent in Urdu and proficient in Arabic.
