Barack Ferrazzano is a proud sponsor of the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Annual Pro Bono Reception. This event celebrates the inspiring and life-changing pro bono work carried out in Illinois through effective pro bono programs, innovative partnerships, and the unwavering dedication of individual attorneys and legal professionals. During this event PILI will unveil their 2020 Pro Bono Recognition Roster. This list honors law firms and corporations that have made significant commitments and contributions to pro bono work throughout Illinois, providing legal assistance to individuals, families, and communities in need.

This year PILI will host a virtual celebration that will include a daily feature presentation June 15-19. PILI Board President Sarah M. Bernstein – co-chair of the Firm’s Motor Vehicle Group and former co-chair of the Pro Bono Committee – will jointly head the event kick-off. Also in attendance will be PILI Young Professionals Board member Sharon E. Calhoun, co-chair of the Firm’s Diversity Committee and a member of the Pro Bono Committee. Featured speakers include Illinois Supreme Court Chief Justice Anne M. Burke, ABA President Judy Perry Martinez, and Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul. No RSVP or registration required, join PILI in support and celebration of state-wide pro bono efforts that foster access to justice for all.
