Barack Ferrazzano is proud to be one of the sponsors of the Children’s Hope India (CHI) 2019 Annual Gala, at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers in New York, on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Founded on the belief that every child counts, CHI strives to help children and families have the tools and opportunities they need to progress from poverty to prosperity. As a largely volunteer led organization, 90% of donations have gone directly towards CHI initiatives over the last 5 years.

This year’s theme “Children on the Move: Onwards & Upwards,” is a tribute to migrant children who have ventured far and wide, making up a large majority of the population CHI serves. Led by CBS news anchor Reena Ninan, the ceremony portion of the gala will highlight CEO of Brookfield Properties Retail Group and Vice Chairman of Brookfield Properties, Sandeep Mathrani as a “Lotus Award Honoree,” and founder and executive director of Vison-Aid, Ramakrishna M. Raju as a “Making a Difference Award Honoree.” Attendees will gather to support CHI’s efforts and enjoy a night of award recognition, special entertainment, music and dance, a live auction, and a tantalizing feast by celebrity chef Gaurav Anand.

Proceeds of this gala will benefit CHI’s programs, expanding access to essential goods and services to help better the lives of hundreds of thousands of children and their families. Since its founding in 1992, CHI has impacted over 300,000 children through 20 projects in several slum communities and villages in various parts of India and counting. We are honored to be part of CHI’s continued growth and contributions.
