The Anti-Money Laundering Association Midwest Chapter Event
Wednesday, May 2, 2018
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
200 West Madison Street
Chicago, IL 60606
Join Barack Ferrazzano Financial Institutions Group Partner and Anti-Money Laundering Association Midwest Chapter president John Geiringer for "Holistic Independent Validation of Transaction Monitoring Systems." Speakers on this topic will be Andy G. Gandhi and Ralph Fatigate, both Managing Directors at Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations, LLC. Together they will shed light on the following topics needed to successfully address and stay ahead of anti-money laundering compliance expectations:
- The compliance technology, data, and resource challenges typically faced by financial institutions – including industry adoption of non-traditional transaction monitoring (e.g., artificial intelligence).
- A pragmatic and holistic approach to independently validating transaction monitoring systems, while minimizing the overall efforts and costs involved with implementing and maintaining these systems at a financial institution.
