With more than a decade of experience, partner Justin Podjasek counsels clients in a broad range of complex commercial real estate and real estate finance transactions. His clients rely on his significant experience with structured mortgage financings (representing both borrowers and lenders), debt acquisitions and dispositions, portfolio and single asset acquisitions and sales, property assemblage, development and construction. Justin’s practice is national in scope and involves a variety of asset classes, including office, retail and industrial properties. In addition, he regularly advises clients with regard to the management of their real estate assets and leasing of their portfolios (representing both landlords and tenants), including, build-to-suit and credit tenant leasing. Justin represents real estate investment trusts (REITs), investment advisors, public and private real estate companies, investors, financial institutions and developers throughout the United States.

Prior to joining the Firm, Justin was an associate in the real estate practice groups of Jones Day and Winston & Strawn LLP and counsel at URS Corporation (subsequently acquired by AECOM). Justin also is a member of the Firm’s Business Development Committee.
