Overview
Emily focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, drawing on over a decade of experience across private practice and federal clerkships to advocate for clients in high-stakes disputes.
Emily is a partner in BFKN’s Litigation Group. She has represented companies across a wide range of industries, including luxury goods, real estate, automotive, and consumer products. Emily has handled all phases of litigation—from developing case strategy and managing discovery to drafting pleadings and dispositive motions and preparing matters for trial. Known for her strategic thinking, Emily brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to each case.
Before rejoining BFKN, Emily served as a career law clerk to the Honorable Judge Brenda Weksler in the District of Nevada, where she managed a docket of approximately 400 cases and drafted judicial opinions on a broad range of complex legal issues. She also served as the district-wide pro bono liaison, helping to expand access to justice.
Before clerking, Emily practiced as a litigation associate at BFKN and at Schiff Hardin LLP, where she represented clients in complex commercial disputes in both state and federal courts.
While attending law school at the University of Michigan, Emily served as a student attorney in the Human Trafficking Clinic and the Child Advocacy Law Clinic.
