His most recent article, “ What Litigators Can Teach Americans Once They (Re-)Learn It Themselves,” discusses how litigators can recapture the true sense of “thinking like a lawyer,” which can also provide Americans as a whole with the kind of understanding of alternative viewpoints that would be valuable in contemporary politics and culture generally.
