Barack Ferrazzano Financial Institutions Group Regulatory Section Leader John M. Geiringer is the editor of, and a contributor to, Countering the Financing of Terrorism: Law and Policy, which was recently published by the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. Written by leading experts with extensive real-world experience, this book is a comprehensive overview of the key legal tools and strategies used to counter the financing of terrorism. John Geiringer is a nationally recognized banking attorney who advises financial institutions on regulatory, governance, and investigative matters. John regularly provides focused training sessions to boards and management on a wide range of legal and risk management topics. He also serves as the founding co-director of the Center for National Security and Human Rights Law at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he teaches classes on banking, national security, and the Holocaust.
