Overview

BFKN is pleased to announce the addition of Samantha T. Zuba to the Litigation Group.

Samantha is an established, solutions-driven litigation attorney who applies creativity and her prior experience clerking for a federal judge to help clients navigate complex commercial disputes. She also has substantial litigation experience working on cases involving diverse subject matter, such as breach of contract, franchise laws, breach of fiduciary duty, trade secret misappropriation, copyright infringement, securities law, and antitrust. Her skill set extends to crafting crucial motions and pleadings for both federal and state courts, as well as adeptly handling depositions of fact witnesses, including those of corporate representatives.

“We are very excited to welcome Sam to the firm and to the Litigation Group. Her well-rounded experience in complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property, fiduciary duty and trade secrets as well as antitrust and other matters, in addition to her federal clerkship on the District of Columbia, further strengthens our talented group of associates and top-notch litigators.” — Maile H. Solís, Co-Chair, Litigation Group

Litigation Group

Our firm has assembled a group of highly skilled trial lawyers – seasoned partners and well-trained associates – who represent clients both forcefully and efficiently. Unlike some litigators, who spend years engaging in expensive discovery only to recommend settlement on the eve of trial, we are always ready to try cases when necessary, but strive to achieve business resolutions early and economically when appropriate.
