BFKN’s Corporate & Securities Group served as legal counsel to Elevate Beauty, an L Catterton platform, in connection with its investment in Eighth Day Skin, a luxury skincare brand that formulates products using bioidentical ingredients to support optimal skin health and beauty.
Launched exclusively at Violet Grey in 2021 by board-certified dermatologist and micrographic reconstructive skin cancer surgeon Dr. Antony Nakhla, Eighth Day made waves in the luxury skincare market with its proprietary skincare innovation, Peptide-Rich Plasma. Inspired by the innate healing and regenerative powers of human skin, Peptide-Rich Plasma is a patent-pending technology composed of 24 bioidentical peptides, growth factors, and amino acids that deliver potent benefits to the skin.
