Barack Ferrazzano is pleased to announce that Tax & Business Planning Group partner Megan E. Toal has been selected as a 2026 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow, and Litigation Group associate Gianna Santoro Miksanek has been chosen as a 2026 LCLD Pathfinder. These prestigious programs recognize outstanding legal professionals and provide participants with the skills, training, and connections to advance into leadership roles.

Launched in 2011, the LCLD Fellows Program supports high-potential, mid-career attorneys at LCLD member organizations with leadership training, professional development, and networking opportunities across law firms and corporate legal departments. The Pathfinders Program, launched in 2015 for early-career attorneys, focuses on foundational leadership skills, career development strategies, and relationship-building to help participants chart a strong professional trajectory.

About the Attorneys

Megan Toal advises public and private companies, REITs, and multinational clients on a wide range of federal tax matters, including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and S corporation issues. Megan is known for explaining complex tax matters clearly, offering practical solutions, and addressing client questions efficiently and thoughtfully.

Gianna Miksanek focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and has extensive experience in appellate and motion practice, discovery management, and strategic litigation planning. Prior to joining the firm, Gianna practiced at a multinational law firm, handling commercial disputes, privacy and data breach cases, product liability/mass tort matters, and employment litigation.
