Overview

The Barack Ferrazzano Financial Institutions Group acted as legal advisor for Bridgewater Bank in the proposed acquisition of Orono, Minnesota based First National Bank of the Lakes, which was announced on January 7, 2016. The transaction, which is expected to be completed before the end of the second quarter of 2016, will increase Bridgewater's presence in Minneapolis and its Western Suburbs. The combined entity is expected to have assets of more than $1 billion upon closing of the transaction. Barack Ferrazzano's legal team was led by Joseph T. Ceithaml.
