Overview
Barack Ferrazzano has been selected by the Public Institute Law Initiative ("PILI") to be included in PILI's 2017 Pro Bono Recognition Roster. This Roster honors law firms and corporations that have made significant commitments and contributions to pro bono throughout the State of Illinois, thereby helping to ensure that individuals, families, veterans, senior citizens, as well as communities, who are in need receive legal services.
To be included in PILI's Pro Bono Recognition Roster, law firms, corporations and legal industry corporate partners must meet at least two criteria based on pro bono services. These criteria include, but are not limited to, an average of 35 pro bono hours per legal professional in Illinois per year, a 5% increase in Illinois office pro bono hours from the previous year, and 60% or more of the firm's Illinois attorneys participate in pro bono work. Motor Vehicle Group Co-Chair Sarah M. Bernstein serves as Vice President of PILI’s Board of Directors.
