Barack Ferrazzano invites you to an in-person/remote lunch CLE showing how our litigation team uses AI to improve outcomes in litigation and at trial. This is NOT another theoretical discussion about AI's potential or to discuss concerns about confidentiality or AI hallucinations. We will screen-share the AI tools we use most (Westlaw Deep AI, Claude, and Syllo) to show how we are utilizing these tools and how we've restructured our workflows around them.

This session will provide actionable tips for litigators exploring how to use AI tools, as well as for in-house lawyers concerned about making sure their outside counsel are using AI to maximize the chance of success.

Our program will cover the following topics:

Tips for Using AI to Improve Legal Research, Strengthen Claims or Defenses, and Modify Pleadings for the Court’s Use of AI

Zoe Brumfield-Meyers Cross, Litigation Group, Barack Ferrazzano; former litigator at Kirkland & Ellis

Six Strategies to Improve Legal Writing with AI

Andrew Osborne, Litigation Group, Barack Ferrazzano; formerly in the Appellate & Supreme Court Practice Group at Jenner & Block

Integrating Claude into Legal Teams and Trial Practice

Nicholas H. Callahan, Litigation Group, Barack Ferrazzano

Using AI as a Comprehensive Case Management and eDiscovery Platform

Jeffrey Chivers, CEO and Head of Product, Syllo; Former Litigator at Sullivan & Cromwell

The session will be held at Barack Ferrazzano's Chicago office and will also be available virtually via ON24. Lunch will be served for those attending in person.

CLE Credit: This session has been submitted for 1.0 hour of General CLE credit in Illinois for both in-person and virtual attendees.
