Barack Ferrazzano partner and Regulatory Section Leader John Geiringer will be a speaker at the Community Bankers Association of Illinois sponsored Seminar for the Community-Bank Attorney. 

In his presentation entitled, "Update on Bank Examination and Enforcement Trends," John will discuss current safety and soundness and compliance issues being faced by community banks. From the Firm's experience representing 250 banks around the country, he will also address examination trends and describe recent regulatory enforcement actions. Prior to joining the Firm in 1999, John was both a bank regulator and a compliance consultant.

The seminar is designed to help community-bank attorneys obtain the latest information regarding legislative, legal and regulatory mandates facing community banks, as well as to meet the Supreme Court of Illinois-ordered requirements for Minimum Continuing Legal Education. The Seminar will be held at the Northfield Inn & Conference Center in Springfield, Illinois on April 1, 2016.
