Barack Ferrazzano partner and Regulatory Section Leader John Geiringer will speak at the 2017 Community Bankers Association of Illinois Bank Directors' College on June 27th. The two-day seminar will be held June 27-28, 2017 at CBAI headquarters in Springfield, Illinois.  John's presentation, "Regulatory Examinations, Enforcement Actions, and Fiduciary Duties," will include a discussion of various type of examinations, CAMELS, formal and informal enforcement actions, and director liability issues.

The Community Bank Directors' College was developed in close conjunction with both state and federal regulators and is designed to teach individuals how to become more effective, capable and supportive members of a bank's board of directors, thus becoming an even bigger asset to community banks.  It provides a thorough understanding of bank operations and bank directors' responsibilities and is recommended for both new and seasoned bank directors.
