Chicago Regional Meet: February 26, 2016
Barack Ferrazzano Corporate & Securities Group partner Will Turner will judge the 2016 Chicago Regional Transactional LawMeet® and participate in the LawMeet's expert demonstration. The goal of the Transactional LawMeet is to provide a meaningful and engaging simulation of transactional practice through live, interactive, educational competitions designed to give law students a hands-on experience in developing and honing transactional lawyering skills. Comparable to moot court or mock trial, LawMeets are the premier learning experience for law students interested in transactional practice. In this year’s Transactional LawMeet, teams will negotiate a “merger” of two emerging technology companies. The top team from each side of the negotiation at each Regional LawMeet will be invited to compete at the National LawMeet.
