Client Alert: Federal Reserve Finalizes Guidance on Sound Compensation Policies

In June 2010, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (the “Federal Reserve”) finalized its guidance on sound incentive compensation policies (the “Final Guidance”).  The Final Guidance refines the principles originally set forth by the Federal Reserve in its 2009 proposed guidance (the “Proposed Guidance”) and expands the group of financial institutions to which the guidance is applicable.  (For a summary of the Proposed Guidance, see our Client Action Alert.)
