Barack Ferrazzano Announces New Partners
Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP, a Chicago-based full-service law firm, announces the elevation of four former associates to partner. The new partners are:
Joseph Ceithaml, a member of the firm's financial institutions group, focuses his practice on corporate and regulatory matters. He regularly represents public and private banks and bank holding companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings and other strategic corporate actions. In addition, Joseph assists the firm's public financial institutions with their continuing compliance with federal securities laws and stock exchange rules. Joseph teaches securities regulation as an adjunct professor at a Chicago area law school.
Thomas Gniot concentrates his practice on various aspects of intellectual property. He has extensive experience in the clearance of trademarks, procurement of registrations, and portfolio maintenance. Tom's practice also includes licensing, trade dress protection, false advertising and other unfair competition, and right of publicity issues, as well as copyrights and design patents. Tom is also a member of the firm's litigation group, concentrating on complex commercial disputes. He speaks fluent Polish.
Brad Marzullo is a member of the firm's corporate and securities group. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, business planning, strategic and corporate counseling, and securities matters. Brad counsels clients in a number of industries such as transportation, real estate, energy, fashion, and manufacturing and has represented clients in numerous domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business combinations. Additionally, he has extensive experience with a number of the firm's clients on a variety of day-to-day legal issues from operational matters, to strategic planning, financing and compliance matters. Brad is a member of the American Bar Association and is conversant in French.
Adam Oyebanji, a member of the firm's commercial litigation department, trained originally as a barrister in England. Adam’s international background has helped equip him to deal with many of the transnational issues facing modern corporations. He has tried several hundred cases of varying size and scope on behalf of individuals, municipalities and large corporations involving issues of breach of contract, fraud, products liability, due process, torts, property rights and others. In addition to trial experience in the United States and Great Britain, Adam has in the course of his practice become familiar with the legal systems of Australia, Botswana, Canada, Kenya, New Zealand, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Republic of South Africa, Scotland and various parts of the Caribbean. Adam serves as an adjunct professor at DePaul Law School, where he teaches Comparative Law.
