Litigation Partner Shermin Kruse Featured in The Law Quadrangle

"KRUSE, '02: Stitching Together Life's Poetry"

Barack Ferrazzano Partner Shermin Kruse is featured in the Spring 2015 edition of the University of Michigan's The Law Quadrangle.  The article entitled, "KRUSE, '02: Stitching Together Life's Poetry," which is a play on the title of her debut novel, Butterfly Stitching (Water Bird Press), chronicles her life's journey.

Along with her parents, Sher fled Tehran during the Iran-Iraq war and settled in Toronto, Canada.  She went on to graduate from the University of Michigan Law School and settled in Chicago.  Not only is she a partner at Barack Ferrazzano, she is the co-founder of the non-profit Pasfarda Arts and Culture Exchange which promotes cultural understanding between the United States and Iran through the Arts.  Sher also volunteers on behalf of the homeless and under-served communities in Chicago, has done volunteer work in India, and has worked with the Karam Foundation aiding refugees on the Turkey-Syria border.
