Shermin Kruse Named to CBJ's 2016 Women of Influence
Barack Ferrazzano congratulates partner and author of Butterfly Stitching, Shermin Kruse, who has been named to the 2016 class of honorees for the Chicago Business Journal's Women of Influence Awards. This year, 50 extraordinary women were selected based upon a strong record of success in their careers, the premium they put on mentoring those around them, and their support for the next generation of women in business. Among the 2016 class, Sher is one of only four female attorneys from law firms receiving this recognition.
Sher concentrates her practice on complex contractual, intellectual property and fraud related disputes for domestic and international corporations. She works with a number of non-profit entities on a pro bono basis; she serves on several non-profit boards; and has formed her own non-profit entities. Sher is a program evaluator and writer under the auspices of the Karam Foundation, a Chicago-based nonprofit providing physical wellness, social and educational programming for Syrian refugee children in Turkey.
