Sarah Bernstein Featured in November 2015 PILI Board Member Spotlight
Barack Ferrazzano partner and former Pro Bono Committee co-chair Sarah Bernstein is featured in the November 2015 Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Board Member Spotlight. Through the Spotlight column, PILI recognizes the exceptional work their board members do and shows its gratitude for the continual support they provide the organization. Sarah began her work with PILI in 2008 while co-chairing the Firm's Pro Bono Committee. She joined PILI's Program Planning Team and was elected to its Board of Directors in 2009. Since then, Sarah has continued her support of PILI and is the current Chair of its Long Range Planning Committee. In addition, Sarah is the Secretary of PILI's Board of Directors, and serves on its Executive and Fundraising & Events Committees.
PILI, a legal aid and public interest law organization, cultivates a lifelong commitment to public interest law and pro bono service within the Illinois legal community to expand the availability of legal services for people, families and communities in need.
