Barack Ferrazzano is pleased to announce Ashley A. Becker and Katherine Fritzi Getz have joined as new associates of the Firm. Ashley will be a member of the Firm's Real Estate Group and Fritzi joins the Financial Institutions Group.

Ashley's experience includes representing clients in all facets of real estate transactions and advising corporate clients on real estate aspects of complex business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations. Previously an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Ashley received her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, where she served as president of the Real Property, Trusts & Estates Law Society and was senior editor of the Journal of International Law and Business.

Knowledgeable in a wide range of corporate and securities law matters, Fritzi represents clients in sales, mergers, acquisitions and restructuring transactions, including contract review and negotiation. She also advises public companies on reporting obligations and represents issuers in public and private offerings of equity and debt securities. Formerly an associate at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP, Fritzi received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was the president of the Federalist Society and the editor of the Journal of Law Reform.
