Barack Ferrazzano is pleased to announce the election of four new partners of the Firm. The new partners are:

Matthew R. Jones focuses his practice on all aspects of executive compensation and employee benefit arrangements, including equity incentive plans, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, employment and severance agreements, tax-qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans. He also advises clients on employment and compensation matters arising from both public and private mergers and acquisitions, as well as securities law aspects of compensation and benefit arrangements.

Jeremy R. Segal concentrates on commercial real estate and routinely advises and works with clients on acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development and financing. He also has represented financial institutions and other investors, as lender, borrower, loan purchaser or loan seller in real estate loan transactions, as well as representing financial institutions in the negotiation, documentation and restructuring of real estate loans.

Owen H. Smith focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He has represented clients on a variety of matters including securities and financial litigation, antitrust counseling and defense, motor vehicle franchise disputes, and cases involving fraud, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary claims. He has also argued various appeals in both federal and state courts.

Kathy Zambrano assists clients in a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including financing, leasing, development, acquisitions and dispositions. She is also experienced in corporate restructuring, primarily representing Chapter 11 debtors. Kathy is co-chair of the Firm's Pro Bono Committee.
