Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP welcomes attorneys Daniel R. Fine and Lia Pernell to the Litigation Group.

Prior to joining Barack Ferrazzano, Dan was with a boutique Chicago litigation firm, as well as the D.C. office of an international law firm. Before turning to private practice, Dan worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Joel M. Flaum, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert M. Dow, Jr., U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Prior to joining Barack Ferrazzano, Lia received her B.A. in English from Princeton University. She was the captain of the Princeton University Women’s rowing team and a three-time All-American. Lia competed for the United States rowing team in six World Championships and at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

While a J.D. candidate at Northwestern University, Lia served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Joan B. Gottschall, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and worked as a law clerk for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee, in the office of Senator Diane Feinstein.
