2011 UNC Banking Institute (Charlotte, NC)
The 2011 Banking Institute, sponsored by the University of North Carolina School of Law's Center for Banking and Finance, will be held March 31-April 1, 2011 at the Ritz Carlton in Charlotte, North Carolina. The CLE conference is designed to educate bankers and their lawyers on important issues relevant to their practice. BFKN partner Karol Sparks will speak as a panelist about Titles I through VI.
What do Titles I through VI of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 mean to you and your practice? What are FSOC, FNR and ONI, and the Volcker Rule...should you care? Our panel of practitioners will demystify those titles and explain what they mean to them and their clients.
Sparks will share the panel with Scott Cammarn of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taff LLP (Charlotte); Todd H. Everson of Gaeta & Eveson, P.A. (Raleigh); Robert C. Hunter of The Clearing House (Winston-Salem); and Mary Patricia D. Oliver of Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pense (Cleveland).
