Acquisitions with Cheval Blanc

Served as primary real estate counsel for LVMH and Cheval Blanc in the acquisition of over an acre of properties on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $500,000,000; and representation in the process of seeking necessary entitlements and developing the properties into a 115-key Cheval Blanc ultra-luxury hotel, designed by architect Peter Marino. The hotel is expected to open in 2025 and will be the first US location for the Cheval Blanc brand.

Various Leasing Matters

Representation of various fashion and jewelry brands, including Christian Dior, Fendi and Louis Vuitton, in connection with leasing of retail store space in:

Representation of Moët Hennessy in connection with leasing of office space in California, Illinois, New York and Texas.

Leasing of Fendi Fifth Avenue Flagship Store

Served as legal advisor for Fendi, an LVMH subsidiary, in the leasing and development of their North American flagship store and office building location on Fifth Avenue in New York, New York.

Leasing of Bulgari Fifth Avenue Flagship Store

Served as legal advisor for Bulgari Corporation of America, an LVMH subsidiary, in the successful renegotiation of the lease for their North American flagship store in the Crown Building at 730 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York.

Acquisition of Louis Vuitton Fifth Avenue Flagship Store

Served as legal advisor for LVMH in the acquisition of a Fifth Avenue parcel in New York and the construction of a Louis Vuitton North American flagship store and office building.

Acquisition and Construction of LVMH Tower

Served as legal advisor for LVMH in the acquisition of a parcel on 57th Street in New York City and the construction of the LVMH Tower, the North American headquarters of LVMH and affiliated brands and the North American flagship store of Christian Dior.

Acquisition of Hotel Saint-Barth Isle de France

Served as legal advisor for LVMH in its acquisition of a UK company that owns Hotel Saint-Barth Isle de France, a 5-star hotel located on the Caribbean Island of St. Barthémy. The acquisition involved complex holding structures that required extensive tax planning and negotiations with minority shareholders.

Served as legal adviser for LVMH in acquiring a joint venture interest in and financing a retail property at 2181 Kalakaua Avenue in Honolulu, Hawaii.
