Emily concentrates on intellectual property matters, working alongside attorneys in all facets of IP practice. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting preliminary screening searches, reviewing and analyzing full trade and service mark availability searches, preparing and filing trademark, service mark, and copyright applications in the U.S. and foreign jurisdictions, enforcement matters, and drafting responses to official actions. Prior to becoming a paralegal, Emily was a member of the Firm’s IP docketing team. She has a thorough understanding of relevant IP databases with extensive experience in trademark docketing software, running searches, and preparing portfolio reports.
