As an associate in the firm’s Litigation group, Amanda represents clients in a wide range of civil commercial, antitrust, and securities litigation in federal and state courts. She has experience litigating cases involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and federal and state antitrust claims, as well as shareholder disputes and class actions. Amanda has also counseled clients on pre-litigation issues, including assessment of litigation risks stemming from mergers and acquisitions, employment contracts, and trade secret disputes. She has significant experience drafting pleadings, pre-trial motions, and appellate briefs, as well as coordinating discovery and depositions.
Prior to joining BFKN, Amanda practiced at a large New York law firm. She also previously served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Rowan D. Wilson of the New York Court of Appeals, the highest court in New York State.
In the course of Amanda’s pro bono practice, she has filed amicus briefs on behalf of pro bono clients in cases before the Supreme Court of the United States and has represented individuals in family court and before the Social Security Administration.
