Jay Byron Leibovitz

Jay concentrates his practice on commercial real estate transactions. His practice includes the representation of international, national and local tenants, developers and land owners in connection with leasing, management and development of new and existing properties.  He has particular expertise with large and small retail properties, including regional malls, power centers, lifestyle centers and mixed-use projects.

Prior to joining Barack Ferrazzano, Jay worked for 7 years as an attorney at a prominent Chicago real estate boutique firm, and prior to that, worked for several years in the legal department at General Growth Properties.

  Primary real estate counsel for LVMH and related entities, including representation of Fendi North America, Inc., in connection with the negotiation of retail leases at Bal Harbour Shops; representation of Louis Vuitton North America, Inc., in connection with the negotiation of retail leases at Charleston Place, Dallas Galleria, Westfield Galleria at Roseville, The Shops at The Bravern, Westfarms Mall, NorthPark Center and The Crystals at City Center
