Rupa is a member of the firm's litigation practice. While attending law school, Rupa served as an intern for Nina Totenberg, legal affairs correspondent for NPR, covering Supreme Court cases and performing legal research. Prior to that, she served as a summer intern in Durban, South Africa, providing pro bono legal services and advocacy for refugees and asylum seekers for Lawyers for Human Rights' Refugee and Migrants Rights Project.
Rupa also served as Staff Editor of the Washington University Law Review. She joined the firm in 2011.
