Kathy Zambrano

Kathy concentrates her practice on commercial real estate. She represents and advises clients in all facets of real estate law, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development and financing. Kathy also has experience in corporate restructuring, where she has primarily represented Chapter 11 debtors.

Kathy is active in the firm's pro bono program.

Representative Matters

• Represented an international oil company in connection with its disposition of hundreds of service stations and other operating properties, through both portfolio sales, as well as one-off transactions.
• Represented a group in connection with the formation of a new public west coast-focused office properties REIT in a "reverse merger" transaction involving the contribution of a U.S. office building portfolio to a newly created operating partnership subsidiary of a REIT and the assumption of indebtedness. 
• Represented a private equity fund in connection with the acquisition of a regional government headquarters building.
• Represented a borrower in multi-property mortgage financing.
• Represented a REIT in the acquisition of medical office buildings.
• Represented purchasers and sellers in purchase and sale transactions of vacant land.
