Essential Job Functions:

Coordinate practice area needs for 3 supervisors
Maintain and manage client files and records
Handle time entry, billing and calendar management and coordination
Word processing and basic drafting of correspondence
Moderate client interaction, including answering phones, receiving clients and coordinating meetings and conferences
Make travel arrangements
Other duties as may be assigned to fully meet requirements of the position

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years experience as a legal secretary with background in commercial litigation practice
Experience with processing court filings, including electronic filings
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook, including:

Cross-referencing
Generating tables of authorities
Generating tables of contents
Use of styles
Working within tables (creating and manipulating)

Able to multi-task and remain highly organized
Able to prioritize and communicate efficiently
Team oriented
Punctual and able to meet deadlines
Available for moderate overtime on an as-needed basis
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of iManage and DeltaView a plus
